Click2Mail Webservices allow users to write their own programs to interface with the Click2Mail system. This is particularly handy for automating your direct mailing workflow or adding direct mail functionality to an existing website or program. Our Webservices can help you reduce your operations cost by off loading the expensive and time consuming task of printing, folding and mailing your direct marketing or transactional mailings. You can create a single postcard, a million-piece national mailing, or anything in between.
We offer two flavors of API protocol to best meet your programming style or platform: A SOAP API style and a REST API style. Below is a description of the REST interfaces and what products are currently supported through each REST API option.
About the MOL: Pro Batch XML interface
The MOL Pro Batch XML interface enables the upload of paired XML/PDF files using a simple REST interface. This interface will allow you to group all your mailings and send them to us in one API call instead of sending the files one at a time, the file can contain as many documents of the same size as needed and you can combine more than one print product in the same file.. You can do a one to one relationship for recipient address to PFD or use an address array and a single PDF to compose your mailing This process uses standard HTTP GET, POST and PUT requests to allow the client to communicate with the server. HTTP support is standard in most programming languages so you will most likely not need any additional libraries or plugins.
